Refractometric Dry Substance of Molasses, Liquid Sugars, Thick juice and Run-off Syrups
1 Scope and Field of Application
This method is used in trading for the determination of the refractometric Brix or the refractometric dry substance (RDS %) of molasses samples (General Subject 4). It is applicable also to very pure syrups or liquid sugars (General Subject 3) [1], and thick juice and run-off syrups (General Subject 8).
