1 Scope and Field of Application

The high performance ion chromatographic (HPIC) method of Day-Lewis and Schäffler [2] is used for the determination of sucrose, glucose and fructose in cane juices, syrups and molasses and sucrose in beet molasses (General Subjects 7, 8 and 4) [1].

If a choice is available to the user for the Determination of Determination of Glucose, Fructose and Sucrose in Cane Juices, Syrups and Molasses then ICUMSA recommends that Method G7/4/3-22 is used preferentially.
