The Determination of Calcium in Sugar Products by EDTA Titration – Accepted
1 Scope and Field of Application
This method is for the determination of calcium primarily in beet juices, beet syrups, refined sugar products and molasses (General Subject 8, 2, 3 and 4) [1,2].
NOTE – See Method GS7-19 for the determination of calcium and magnesium in cane juice and syrup using EDTA titration.
